Our 2-DAY Client Agreement.
The Client understands that:
1. They must allocate time for completing the Video Outline Planning document and submitting a completed version 5-working days before the scheduled video production date to allow enough time for the scripting process.
2. The key decision maker must make themselves available for a 2 x 1-hour Scripting Sessions with One Day Video’s (ODV) Scriptwriter prior to the scheduled video production date, as well as a Storyboard sign-off session. The decision maker must be a part of these Scripting Sessions and the Storyboard sign-off.
3. The key decision maker and all video participants (the talent) must be at the Planning Session at the beginning of the shoot day (8:30-9:00am).
4. A maximum of three shoot location is preferred, and any other locations must be no more than a 20-minute drive from the last location, otherwise this will eat into the shooting time.
5. The key decision maker must be available on the second day for the final editing sign off, between 5:00-6:00pm (re. the final video edit).
6. The time for editing is tight, therefore they will arrange a quiet desk where the Director & Videographer can work on the edit uninterrupted. The Client will have time for giving needed input at the sign-off session (as per 5 above).
7. The maximum video length allowance is 2.5 minutes. An extra fee of $750 +GST will be charged for each 30-seconds (or part thereof) over this allowance.
8. Any changes requested after the final video sign-off will be charged at ODV’s hourly rate of $195+GST.
9. All video production payments are due within 7-days from receipt of the invoice.
10. Any FREE offer that has been been made is contingent on payment being received as per item 9 above. ODV reserves the right to withdraw any FREE offer made if payment is not received as agreed.
11. If any of the shoot locations are outside of the Auckland region then the disbursements (eg. airfares, taxis, accommodation, meals, travel time, etc) are to be met by the client and payment is due on receipt of our invoice.
12. A video shoot may be cancelled no later than 72-hours (3-days) before the scheduled shoot date, however, any time already spent on scripting and pre-production will be paid by the Client at $195 +GST per hour.
13. All rights to the video footage produced by ODV, including any voice over, are owned by the Client and they have unlimited use of the video in perpetuity.
14. ODV will not use the Client's video for promotional purposes without the Client's permission.
